At Falls River Music, we offer private voice lessons that are both fun and effective for students of all ages and skill levels—from complete beginners to advanced vocalists. Lessons are available for kids ages 7 and up, teens, and adults.
Conveniently located just off the 540 freeway in North Raleigh, we welcome students from across the Triangle area, including Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Wake Forest, and more.
Students learn how to use their voice as the powerful instrument it truly is—developing healthy vocal technique while also working on the songs and styles they enjoy most.
We make it easy to fit music into your schedule:
Monday–Friday afternoons and evenings
Saturday mornings and afternoons
Weekly private 30-minute one-on-one sessions
Students also get the chance to perform in recital concerts and student band showcases, hosted right on our in-store stage—an exciting way to gain confidence and share their progress!
Our vocal instruction is customized to your age, goals, and musical interests. Lessons include:
Proper warm-up and vocal technique
Expanding vocal range and control
Lessons designed specifically for younger children
Training in ear development, sight reading, and music theory
Opportunities to incorporate beginning piano as part of your lessons
Exploration of multiple styles, from pop and rock to classical, jazz, worship, and more
