Our certified Art instructor patiently teaches them the skills they need to foster their artistic abilities for years to come.

The “Pioneer Picassos” Class

(for Ages 4-7)

In this class students will learn basic art principles and elements. They will study color theory (primary, secondary, and complementary colors). Students will learn about fine artists and create works of their own using what they learn. This class is appropriately paced for younger kids. They will learn scissor skills, gluing skills and how to use various art tools/mediums.

All Materials included (a $20+ value) / $96 a month (weekly 60-minute group Class)

The “Visionary Van Goghs” Class

(for Ages 8-12)

In this class students will learn age appropriate art principles and elements. They will study color theory (primary, secondary, complementary, analogous, and tertiary colors). Students will learn about fine artists and create works of their own using what they learn. This class is appropriately paced for older elementary leveled kids. They will learn how line, shape, form, space, value, texture,  and color all play an important role in their work. They will work with various art mediums (paint, graphite, watercolors, etc) to create their own art.

Instructor: Jessica Wall

Mrs. Wall is a former public school teacher with experience (8 years) in elementary general education and elementary art education. She is certified to teach k-6 elementary education and k-12 art education. A resident of North Carolina her whole life, she is thrilled to be able to offer art classes to children in the state capital. Mrs. Wall is a freelance artist, homeschool mom, and avid gardener in her spare time. She works predominantly with resin and floral preservation in her art. Her ultimate goal with these classes is to foster a love for art and the urge to learn more and be more creative.
